Long Swim @ Box end 13/7/08
Posted July 1st, 2008 by Emma CarterAm doing this in a couple of weeks. Is anyone else going that might be able to give me a lift? Will bring cake as an incentive!
It will, of course require that you have the patience of a saint, to wait for me to finish doggy paddling around the 3.8km!!

Club Trophy Series
Posted June 10th, 2008 by Site AdministratorIt was agreed at the committee meeting last night to have a series of club races in 2009 that we can all enter and compete in for a club trophy
Details and points scoring have yet to be decided, but the important thing now is to select which races to do so we can all enter before they fill up!
The series will probably have a sprint, an olympic, a half Ironman and a full Ironman race, with members needing to enter 3 out of 4 to qualify.
Annual Dinner and Summer BBQ
Posted June 10th, 2008 by Adam MooreHello every one,
This is a topic I would like every one’s feedback on as my self and the committee feel it is important for the club to organise social events for members. It is also important for us to find out how many of you would like to attend such events if held. I am in the progress of trying to organise two main social events. A ‘summer BBQ’ and our ‘Annual Dinner presentation evening.’
Car Sharing for Blenheim volunteers
Posted May 21st, 2008 by Sean NicolleAre you planning to drive to Blenheim for the volunteering? The organisers have given us parking passes but not enough for one per volunteer. We have a number of people who are racing and can get in that way otherwise can you offer a space in your car to give someone a lift?
I'll start - anyone wishing a lift from Thame then I'll have 3 spaces in the car. I'll have to be there promptly and leave fairly late though expected to be no later than 4 but most like slightly earlier. Both days
Tour of Wessex
Posted May 9th, 2008 by Nick HalesHi all, who is doing the Tour of Wessex this year? Where are you staying? There's a few of us camping (Alex, Luke and me) and I know a bunch of others are going down.
Would be good to meet up for a pint of Gatorade or two in the evenings.

London Marathon slot available
Posted January 25th, 2008 by Nick HalesIf anyone is interested in running the London Marathon in April, a friend of mine is looking for a runner for the charity she's involved with.
You'll need to raise a grand, but this is:
a) Not much compared to other charity slots
b) Easy because it's a marathon. You can shame a surprising amount of money out of lazy people
The charity is Rotoract, a Rotary spinoff (the ones who help at IMUK), more here:

UK Ironman 70.3 2008
Posted November 11th, 2007 by James HolleyHi fellow Tri club members
I have entered next years 70.3 Ironman.
I was after any advice from anybody who had done this event previously with regards good training tips, information on the course or just general hints and tips on getting to and from the course.
Thanks
James
