Rome Marathon

Hi Guys,
I'm running the Rome Marathon in march in aid of Sobell House Hospice. I'm in need of sponsorship, any donations will be greatly appreciated & will make the slog around the cobbled streets that bit easier. Below is a link to my fund raising page

If you prefer the old fashioned way of giving i will bring a paper sponsorship form with me to training sessions.
Sunday cycle on ***** meet at Oxsrad *****

Ok fingers crossed Sunday looks fantastic day weather wise and I for one cannot wait to breathe some fresh air. Today’s rain should clear all the snow with just a slight chance of a frost Sunday morning.
I will lead a 2 / 3 hour steady ride tomorrow depending on what people want to do.
Barton pool open on 13 January

This is just to confirm that Barton Pool is open as usual and the first Wednesday swim of the year will start at 9pm.

Warm weather training camp

If the cold weather is getting you down why not have some warm weather training in Lanzarote to look forward to? Jo Haley of Blue Shark Coaching is running a training camp based in Puerto del Carmen from 13-20 March and I hope to be going to help out with the coaching. If anyone would like further details just drop me an email. Jo has helped out in the past with coaching at some of our swims so will be known to some of you.
Happy New Year and keep up with those resolutions!

Interesting Times

We are nearly there out goes 2009 in comes 2010 so in advance have a happy new year.
I hope your aims and goals are taking shape and please bear in mind the club champ series, which is a great way of getting together and racing. As a club we are planning events and sessions to spice up 2010, for those who read the committee notes may have already spotted a few things.
