Carterton triathlon

Hi Everyone,
I thought I would let you all know of a new local Triathlon in Carterton leisure Centre.
Radley Reminder

Just a reminder that there are two Swim sessions available at Radley College Sport Centre:
Wednesday 7.30-9pm (for those who enjoy a longer session, although you can swim for as long as you like).
Thursday 7-8am
Both have session plans and a coach is on hand at the Wednesday evening session to help with drill technique and queries.
Sadly attendance at the Thursday morning session is very poor; this session is under urgent review and will be dropped if attendance doesn't increase significantly.
April Minutes 2010

Attached are the minutes from last Monday's meeting - sorry for the delay

Solent Swim Update

For those who showed interest in my original posting on the Isle of Wight "Solent Swim", I've had an update, with 2 provisional dates. They are yet to finalise, I'm not sure why but content of the email was as follows :
Club Championship Series 2010

The Club championship series kicked of this weekend at the Big Cow, Milton Keynes Duathlon which saw seven Oxford Tri members take part. Julian Lhomme was first home for the club scoring a maximum of 10 points and finishing 19th overall, well done Jules another solid performance. Next in the scoring with 8 points was Howard Waller who had an outstanding bike and finished 83rd.
Beginners' Evening: Tuesday 13th April 2010, 7.30 pm at the Oxsrad Centre, Marsh Lane, Marston

Noe Orozco and Peter Larbalestier will host this year's beginners' evening at the Oxsrad Centre. The session is aimed at newcomers to multi-sport preparing initially for shorter distance races and is a good opportunity to meet other like-minded people. We will discuss all aspects including training, race day preparation, equipment, nutrition and of course safety. Other club coaches will be on hand to share their experience and help out with the Q&A session.
The meeting is open to members and non-members alike. Come along with your enthusiasm!
National club relay Championships 21/08/10

It’s all coming thick and fast today people but the season is just around the corner and this is event we 100% want to be involved with. Last year we took 6 teams to Nottingham and I think everyone who came had a cracking time. It’s truly is a fantastic weekend away and it would be great to have the mighty blue and white of Oxford tri present. The club will help towards entering which helps with cost and the camping is really cheap!
