Club Ironman 2010 Vote

Which race do you think should be the Club Ironman for next year?

You can vote for as many as you like, so tick all the races you would consider doing in 2010, and there are a few extra options at the bottom.

To change your vote, cancel it and vote again.

Drop me a note if you want any extras, but you'll have to be quick to catch the early voters!

Hit the comments to promote your favourite.

If you just want to see the results, vote for option 20... please no spoiled ballots!

I noticed I can no longer have the option to change my vote.

Does that mean that voting is over and we have a winner?

OK we're getting really close to Ironman Germany registartion time!!

I definitely want to sign up to the 'club' ironman next year. Have we a consensus? To Alex, Richard and Nick I have seen your posts on the discussion board - I am up for Switzerland if you guys are there but we need a decision. I'm sure it would be better financially (for accomodation), and moral boosting, and training-enjoyment-factor-increasing if we get plenty of Ox Tri members at the same event...

That's it. I'm going for it next year.

I'l happily do Germany or Switzerland but will need to register on Wednesday if it's Germany.

Do we have a winner?

The votes have been counted and the winner by one vote is...

IRONMAN GERMANY

Fingers on keyboards, you'll need to be quick!

Susan Turner

Good luck everyone with your fingers on keys. Unfortunately I'll have to take a pass on this as I won't be in a position of having computer access at the crucial time on either Wednesday or Monday.

Don't know how the system works--does it allow for somebody to do it for you?

... 50 minutes and never even seen the registration page yet ... does it usually take much longer?

Austria went live 15 minutes early, so it's anyone's guess...

By the way, anyone else put off by the exorbitant entrance fee of the M-Dots, several of us are planning to do Norseman, which was the top voted Non-Dot.

It's a truly awesome race and something a bit different from the usual circuit. It is perfectly doable for a first time Ironman, but it is one of the hardest ones out there.

I got in and so I believe have Nick and Hanno.

Anybody else?

Ich bin innen

Can't believe I'm planning over a year in advance. Let's just hope the current "work > training" equation starts to change.

Norseman - Hmmm, looks like a proper challenge. This has to be done too. Is there enough recovery time??

I'm not actually entered in Germany, hadn't realised it was also €400+ to enter.

4 weeks is enough, especially if you're not going for a PB on the second one. It gives you 3 weeks recovery just in time to start your taper!

I sneaked into Germany on Wednesday afternoon.

I can't believe I have entered another Ironman only a week after doing France.

Roll on next July!!!!
