Location: Radley College Sports Centre, Abingdon
When: Starting Thursday 2nd April
Time: 7 - 8 am
For: Members only - no guests permitted
The person administering the session will have an access card to let you into the building. They will be there from approximately 6.45am - you cannot get access into the building any other way. The college are supplying a lifeguard, they will arrive at 7am. Do not get into the water before the lifeguard has arrived.
This session will not be coached, but there will be sessions plans available should you wish to follow them. At present I am anticipating that 4 lanes will use the session plan and 2 will be available for anyone who wishes to do their own thing. This may change depending on the numbers present. All the usual guidelines regarding lane swimming, lane etiquette and the division of abililty lanes apply - exactly as it does at the Dragon swim sessions.
Please do not forget to bring your membership card along. No card = No swim. This will be strictly enforced. This session is for members only.
I do hope as many of you as possible will take up the opportunity to use this great new facility. We have a 10 week trial period. If there are sufficient numbers this will be extended for a further 10 weeks. Unlike Dragon School Pool, Radley will not be subject to closures during school holidays - except for a few days over Christmas.
