Switzerland IronMan 70.3 - June 3rd

Is anyone in the club already signed up for this or considering it as part of their season?  I'm in - and looking for travel buddies and race mates to share the experience with.  If you're interested then drop me a line!

Hi Steve, 

Also already signed up for this as well, fortunately I have some freinds just outside Zurich I can stay with so that is sorted.  We (me & my wife) are going to make a it of a weekend of it  so are flying out on Thursday and coming back on the Tuesday (Easyjet from Luton).  Have you got flights booked ?  We're you thinking of staying in Rapperswil or Zurich ?  I'll be a little way from Rapperswil but still planned to go down on the Saturday at some point to register etc.

I will give it some thought. Im going to Mallorca to do the 70.3 a few  weeks before this event,but i am tempted.

Rachel, The swim is fractionaly longer than an Olympic.

The bike is 70% downhill or flat (don't ask about the other 30% though).

The run is pancake flat.  

Piece of cake.  

 

I'll talk you into it next time you beat me up in the pool.  :)
