Open Water Swimming

Hello all ,

Phil and I have been to the new lake this morning and it was a stunning 15 Deg C this is an increase of 3 Deg in a week. The course looks good and the sailing guys very friendly.

The start and finish are at the same point, the Garmin got a little confused but it looks like 560 mtr laps 0.35 miles.

First swim next Sat 1st May in the water start time is 8 a.m please be there early, as this is the first one it will take a litttle organising.

Gates will be open at 7.30. There will be no changing / shower facilities for this first swim. We have to be out of the water for 9.

All swimmers will need this years disclaimer signed so we can punch your cards.

Remember no mebership card no swim ! we have to be really tight on this at open water.
